- What is the procedure of contracting, are there any limits, does one need medical examination?

The only condition for covering bone fracture is that at least 10 days pass in case of a new accident with a bone fracture from the previous one, where one accident refers to breaking of one or more bones in one accident.
- When does the cover begin with SG Protector?
In case of an accident the cover begins when the policy contract is signed and the first monthly premium is paid, and in case of death caused by illness the cover is equal to the amount of premium paid in the first year, and then it is increased to 50.000 HRK. No health related information about the insured person is necessary.
- How long does the insurance last, how do I extend the duration of the policy?
The policy is valid for one year, but it is automatically extended, no new documents are needed, it is enough to pay your premium regularly. Therefore, the easiest way is to arrange a standing order in Splitska banka or another bank where you have opened your account and where your income is deposited regularly, that way you are permanently insured.
- Who has the right to a ten-percent discount on the second policy?
A person who has already signed a policy contract can get a ten-percent discount for another family member.
- Can I choose an additional policy with higher cover afterwards?
At any moment SG Protector can be signed with an existing policy, but not more than two at the same time. It can also be terminated and a new policy with different cover, based on your preferences, may be chosen instead.

Yes, the guarantee will be added to existing one, and you can also change insurance duration.
- How can the employee benefit if the company is the policyholder to the life insurance contract?
The insurance will pay the guarantee- in case of Death or in case of Life and at that time it is paid, it is the income of the company. The company can, e.g. in an annex to the work contract, fully or partially transfer the amount of cover to the employee or simply after the end of the contract give the money to the employee through salary or as a reward etc.
- What is the tax the company pays for the paid premium?
The paid premium is the cost of the company, and no special tax is applied, provided that the insured person is an employee of the company. Child policy:
- What happens in case of death of the insured person? What if the child is a minor at that moment?
Regardless of the death of the insured person, on the date agreed, the insured amount and profit are paid to the beneficiary, i.e. the child. If the child is a minor, it does not influence his/her right to accept the agreed amount on the date agreed, if he/ she is an adult at the moment. For that reason, it is good to determine duration and the date of payment of the insured amount in accordance with the planned age of the child. Société Générale Osiguranje d.d. sends reports on added profit each year.

- What happens if I’m not able to pay the premium at all?
It is in the best interest of each client to pay the premium regularly, as this creates the security that the final amount will be paid in the end. However, if the client cannot pay any more, after invitation from SGO, and the premium was paid for at least 6 months (which is significantly shorter than the usual 3 years in Croatia) the capitalized value will be set related to the amount paid until then and this becomes the new insured amount. Also, you can request the termination and payment of the policy in the amount of surrender value. In both cases, all profits added until then are included.
- Can I extend or shorten the duration of contract?
We can close the current and offer a new contract; the whole amount of capitalized value will be transferred to the new one, if you find the proposed new amount of premium and duration for the chosen sum insured acceptable and in accordance with your request.
- Can I change the payments cycle; switch to annual or semi-annual later?
Of course; it is possible to request the change once per year; to maintain the regularity and all profit sharing effects, so please think what type of regular payment is the most effective for you.
